Ahmet is the founding partner of Sunvest. He brings 20 years of investment and transaction experience through one of the best private equity track records in Turkey and GCC.
 
Ahmet started his career in 1996 at Arthur Andersen, where he advised various strategic and financial deals on wide range of industries. Ahmet became the Head of PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ Corporate Finance team in 2004, where he built the Firm’s Corporate Finance division and advised wide range of mid and large-cap transactions.
 
In 2006, Ahmet established NBK Capital’s Istanbul office and served as the Country Head and Managing Director for nearly ten years. During his tenor, Ahmet led and closed nine deals in Turkey, five of which has already been successfully exited with attractive returns. As an Investment Committee member of NBK Capital, Ahmet was also involved in 10 other deals in the MENA region, six of which has been successfully exited as of 2015. During his tenor, Ahmet also served as a board member of Dunya Goz, Kılıc Aquaculture, Bavet Medical, and as Chairman of the Board of Yatsan and Sistem-9 Media. Ahmet was also observer board member of Dem İlac and Aras Kargo mezzanine investments.
 
Ahmet holds BSc in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and IMD Business School.
